The applet indicates the maximum DF error allowed for a secondary DF system to successfully resolve colocated interferometer ambiguities.
The interferometer minimum antenna pair spacing, required field of view and interferometer phase discriminator maximum phase measurement error are set up on the scrollbars.
The plots show the allowed DF error on the interferometer boresight (direction perpendicular to the interferometer axis) and at the edge of the specified field of view. The operating frequency range is adjusted using the text boxes and enter button at the bottom of the applet.
The elevation scrollbar shows the effect of source elevation on allowed error for the set field of view.
